Application Scope of High- and Low-Voltage Switchgear Cabinets

Application Scope of High- and Low-Voltage Switchgear Cabinets

High- and low-voltage switchgear are the core equipment for power distribution, control, and protection in electrical systems. Connected via transformers, they function as a “watershed”: high-voltage switchgear receives and distributes high‑voltage electricity from the grid, while low-voltage switchgear further subdivides this power into smaller units and delivers it to end‑use equipment.

Incoming switchgear: Receives electrical power from the upstream grid. Feeder switchgear: Distributes power to individual load circuits, such as a production line or an entire building. Bus-tie switchgear: Connects two bus sections, enabling mutual backup or sectional operation. Bus-tie switchgear: Connects two bus sections, enabling mutual backup or sectional operation.
